Khloe Kardashian Happy She Hasn't Gotten Pregnant
Despite rumors that she is desperate to get pregnant, reality star Khloe Kardashian said she is ok with not having a child, especially with her recent move to Dallas.
"It's frustrating when you hear so many rumors because it makes you almost want to put pressure on yourself," Kardashian told People magazine. "But looking back, I think everything happens for a reason."
Khloe, 27, married NBA pro Lamar Odom, 32, in 2009. It has since been rumored that the pair have been having trouble conceiving a child, which their reality show "Khloe and Lamar" eventually confirmed. But Khloe is now saying she sees not yet having a child with her husband as a blessing in disguise.
"I don't think I could have dealt with everything at one time," she told People. "Doing this trade and my husband's emotions and going through all that is so stressful."
"I think, 'Gosh, what if I did get pregnant last season or a few months ago? Or what if I had a newborn baby and all this trade stuff happened?'" Khloe added.
But Lamar, who already has three children from a previous relationship, may not be so relieved. Following the news that Khloe's older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, was pregnant for the second time, Odom admitted he was jealous of the upcoming addition to the family.
"Were you jealous that Kourtney got pregnant again?" Khloe asked Lamar in a clip of the sneak peek for season two of their reality show, which airs Feb. 19.
"Yes, they get to have another baby and I don't," Odom replied.
Although the couple have begun letting go of the excess pressure to reproduce, they have not given up on trying to have a baby, Khloe told People.
"Maybe Dallas will bring a baby," Khloe said. "We're definitely trying to have kids. Everything will happen when it's meant to be."
"Last season, we were much more documenting, 'Okay, when am I ovulating, when am I doing this?' And it was very stressful to do it that way, so we've stopped. Lamar and I definitely are letting nature take its course," she said.
