Kim Kardashian Draws Ire for Promotional Tweets During Boston Bombing

Kim Kardashian was under fire Monday when she took to Twitter to promote her family's business ventures amid bombings that took injured over 140 people at the Boston marathon.

Kardashian, the 32-year-old reality television star, reportedly took to Twitter to promote her mother Kris Jenner's appearance on the QVC shopping network, according to HollywoodLife.com.

"Check out @krisjenner on @QVC's PM Style Show at 7PM EST tonight!" Kim tweeted during the explosions that took place in Boston on Monday.

However, the reality television star's followers on the social networking website did not seem too happy with her promotional skills during the tragedy.

"America is in the midst of a tragedy right now," one Kardashian follower tweeted before cursing at the reality television star.

Another person following the soon-to-be mother shared the same sentiments.

"WE DNT GIVE A (expletive) RIGHT NOW KIM," the person tweeted.

Kardashian's mother suffered from the same backlash when she took to her own Twitter account to promote her QVC appearance.

"Tonight is the night dolls," Jenner tweeted while providing a link to her Celebuzz blog account. "I am so excited to share some fab stylish looks on QVC's 'PM Style Show,' Tune in at 7 PM EST to see me debut some of my collection's gorg new pieces. Can't wait!"

However, Jenner drew the same ire as her daughter after sharing the message.

"This isn't the time for self promotion," one person tweeted. "Please unschedule your tweets."

While Jenner decided to follow up her promotional tweet by offering prayers during the Boston bombing, Kardashian made sure to mention the tragedy and later remove her promotional message amid the backlash.

"My heart is breaking for everyone affected or injured in the explosion at the Boston Marathon," Kardashian tweeted. "God bless you all! My prayers are with you!"
