Kim Kardashian Faces Lawsuit Over Body Hair Removal Treatments

In the midst of Kim Kardashian suing a former publicist for damaging her reputation, with allegations that the wedding was a publicity stunt, the celebrity herself is facing a suit concerning some false advertising.

Kim is involved with advertisements for TRIA, a home laser removal system, and has raved about how the product effectively removes all the hair from her body.

A rival company, Radiant, sells a similar product called No! No! Hair and has stated "Kim has deceived the public with her pitch," TMZ reported.

Radiant said TRIA themselves stated the product is not to be used on the face, head, ears, neck, and genitals – despite Kim's claims she uses it head to toe.

Radiant is upset over statements Kim made about the product, "You'll never need razors or shaving cream again." The company said even within TRIA's instruction booklet it said it is to be used with shaving, not without.

Radiant wants Kim to stop making her false claims and is seeking an undisclosed amount of money from the star.

The other lawsuit Kim Kardashian is involved in sees her taking action against the man who accused the reality star and her team of fabricating her entire wedding and the surrounding affairs as a publicity stunt to improve show ratings.

TMZ is reporting Kim hired Marty Singer, a well-known Hollywood lawyer, to quiet Jonathan Jaxson, a former publicist for the celebrity.

Jaxson claims he worked for Kim, reported TMZ, and while a source close to the reality star said this is true, they said it was a long time ago and for work on a blog.

TMZ said Kim barely remembers who Jaxson is and is puzzled by whatever inside information he has on her because they haven't spoken in years.

Kardashian had the man sign off on a confidentiality agreement when they worked together and now feels he is now violating those terms.

She is suing Jaxson for attempting to damage her reputation and is seeking a minimum of $200,000.

Kim's lawyer, Singer, told TMZ "Everything that he is saying is false and nonsense... This guy is in it to promote himself for his 15 mins of fame."

Jaxson responded to calls from TMZ, and released his own statement on the manner, "I have never signed an agreement dealing with confidentiality with Kim Kardashian. I have an agreement in my possession that does not have either parties signature on it."
