Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Baby Photos May Fetch $1 Million
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's pregnancy is undoubtedly becoming one of the most highly anticipated baby births of 2013. A new report claims that their baby photos could ultimately make history.
On Monday, Kardashian, 32, announced that she and West, 35, are expecting their first child together. According to reports, the reality TV star is 12 weeks along and due to give birth in July. Critics expect that Kardashian will sell her baby's photo to a major tabloid like her older sister Kourtney did, and there is talk that the power couple may even pocket $1 million for the first snaps, according to RumorFix.
"A People [magazine] set up may be worth a million dollars easy," one source reportedly told RumorFix.

"Shiloh Nouvel, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's first biological child, fetched $4.1 million dollars from People [magazine] and I think about $500,000 for Jessica Simpson's baby … so maybe $800,000 to over a million for Kimye's kid," another source, a journalist at a prominent celebrity magazine, explained. "That's probably where negotiations will start."
While $1 million may seem like a lot of money to the average consumer, one industry insider made a valid observation.
"[$1 million] is like nothing to Kanye and Kim," the insider said of the self-made millionaires.
However, if Kardashian and West, who have been dating for less than a year, do manage to get a million dollar payout for first photos, their baby could easily become one of the highest paid celebrity babies in history.
The couple would join the likes of Brad and Angelina, Jennifer Lopez and estranged husband Marc Anthony and others who received substantial amounts for their baby's photos.
In 2008 Brad and Angelina received more than $11 million, the largest amount paid in U.S. history, for the first pictures of their twins, Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, according to Women's Wear Daily.
Other celebrities who have received more than $1 million for selling the rights to their baby's photos include actress Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren, singer Christina Aguilera and ex-husband Jordan Bratman, and singer Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.
