Kris Humphries Wants Ring Back, $325,000 Ferrari Returned

Kris Humphries wants the ring back from Kim Kardashian. The basketball player alleges that their marriage was nothing but a sham- it lasted only 72 days before Kim filed for divorce- and he wants the engagement ring returned.

Kris Humphries can't "fathom" why Kim wouldn't want to give the ring back, especially with all the negative press the pair has received since last year. Humphries paid for the $2 million 20-carat ring, and feels that Kardashian's love of "material objects" is the only reason she's kept it.

"Remember, Kim filed for divorce. Kris paid for that ring, and he just can't fathom why Kim would want to keep it. It's not like she is ever going to wear it again," an insider told Radar Online. "Kris realizes that with Kim it's all about material objects and she truly treasures things over people in her life."

The divorce proceedings between the two are set to be ugly, with Humphries repeatedly requesting that the trial be filmed, or that Kim admit that the nuptials were fraudulent. The acknowledgement could award him an annulment, instead of an expensive and time-consuming divorce.

However, chances that will happen are slim, especially because Kris Humphries legal team is also demanding a $325,000 white Ferrari- a wedding gift from a Malaysian entrepreneur- be returned to him.

"Amongst other matters, he wants to know about the Ferrari that the couple got from a very wealthy Malaysian businessman that attended the wedding," the source told Radar.

Although the car was intended as a gift to the couple, it hasn't been used as such.

"Kris was at Kim's house when the car was delivered- it was given to both of them, but Kim has kept sole ownership and has used it extensively. She will be asked about it, under oath, on the stand at the trial," the insider added.
