Kristen Stewart Cuts Red Hair Into Shockingly Short Style
Kristen Stewart is the latest Hollywood actress to chop her hair into a shocking short 'do this week.
The "Twilight" star stepped out with a brand new hairstyle no Tuesday, July 8 that has surprised her legions of fans. Stewart debuted a look that featured her recently-dyed red hair drastically cut to a length well above the shoulders and coiffed into a side-swept, blunt style during Paris Fashion Week, according to Us Weekly.
Stewart, 24, is well-known for her long dark tresses. However, the starlet's retro-inspired much shorter look has fans praising the makeover. The actress paired her new edgy hairstyle with a sleeveless ribbed crop top and a pair of high-waisted sheer white pants and white high heels, complete with chunky silver jewelry and sunglasses, according to the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, the "Clouds of Sils Maria" star joins a slew of other actresses who have recently cut their hair, including Kaley Cuoco. "The Big Bang Theory" star first cut her blonde hair into a shoulder-length bob before chopping it into a pixie cut recently. Furthermore, stars such as Pamela Anderson, Kristin Chenoweth, Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lawrence have all chopped length from their hair lately. Back in November, Lawrence explained her new pixie hairstyle while speaking to Yahoo.
"It was just kind of like [shoulder-length] and it grew to that awkward, gross length, and I just kept putting it back in a bun, and I said, 'Well, I don't want to do this,' so I just cut it off," the actress explained.
Other stars with recently shortened hairstyles include Taylor Swift, Hilary Duff and Julianne Hough, among others. Swift announced her new style explaining, "I just needed a haircut."
"While in the studio I came to the realization that my bangs are long enough to use as a sleep mask on long flights," Swift posted to Instagram along with a photo of her hair. "Then I remembered that I don't even use sleep masks on flights. So really, I just need a haircut."
