Kristen Stewart 'Still A Mess' After Robert Pattinson Split? Actor 'Bracing Himself' for Reunion?
Kristen Stewart is reportedly blaming herself for her recent split with Robert Pattinson and reports claim the actress is convinced they would still be together if she did not engage in her infamous affair.
In July 2012 Stewart, 23, publicly apologized to Pattinson, 27, for cheating after photographs of her tryst with married "Snow White and The Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders, surfaced online. The couple, who met on the 2008 set of "Twilight," was reportedly unable to move past the cheating scandal and subsequently they mutually broke up in May however Stewart is reportedly miserable.
"Kristen is still a damn mess," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "She's been regretting cheating every day since she got caught, and she's convinced that she could still have Rob if not for that."

While Stewart is currently busy filming her latest film "Camp X-Ray," Pattinson is in Canada filming "Maps to the Stars" and a source claims he is extremely nervous about seeing her again. The British actor reportedly has not seen Stewart since he moved out of her Los Feliz home and reports claim he fears that a run-in with the actress may bring back old memories.
"He's bracing himself to run into her in some capacity," a source said. They are in the same social circles, they like the same music...he's just hoping they can both be adults and it won't hurt too much."
On Monday it was claimed that Stewart was holding out for a reconciliation with Pattinson and sources revealed that the actor was open to rekindling their relationship in the future.
"He's told his friends that during a different time and different circumstances, they could make it work," a source revealed. "At this point, Rob's just going to focus on making great cinema and hanging out with his friends."
Meanwhile Stewart, who is still emotionally struggling with the split, has reportedly urged friends and family not to discuss Pattinson for the time being as she is trying to stay focused on work.
"As far as Rob is concerned, she still misses him, but doesn't want to talk about him with her friends. She wants to remain focused on her film," an alleged friend of Stewart said.
"While she's working, she has asked her family and closest friends to not mention his name or ask her how she's feeling. This is her way of healing," the source added.
