Lamar Odom Condition Latest News: Former Lakers Star 'Can Barely Walk On His Own'

The news about Lamar Odom filled social media and news outlets for the past couple of months, and the former Lakers star is currently recovering from what appears to be an overdose of a combination of drugs and alcohol. There have been several reports, some untrue, about his real condition, but the good news is that he survived.

A report from Entertainment Tonight, supposedly coming from an unnamed source, said that the retired basketball player is still in very serious condition and that he actually isn't doing great. The same source said that Odom's speech is somewhat slurred and he has trouble walking on his own. But perhaps the most alarming rumor of all is that he has serious issues remembering names of people close to him and that he clearly has memory problems.

The Kardashians, though, have been quite supportive of their in-law by regularly visiting him at the hospital, especially his estranged wife, Khloe.

To recall, Odom was rushed to a Vegas hospital after he was found unconscious by a couple of employees of a Nevada brothel in October. The initial reports were astounding, some even saying that he won't survive after suffering strokes and even going into a coma. Authorities investigating the incident have speculated that the reality TV star may have overdosed, but the kind of substance he used wasn't disclosed.

After more than a month of news, rumors, and lots of media speculations, it seemed like everyone became no longer interested in Odom's progress, up until now when ET reported about his slow recovery.

But it should be noted that any struggle with regard to his physical and motor skills is expected since it only has been roughly two months when the incident happened. At this point, everyone will just have to wait for positive news, provided there will be any.
