Lamar Odom News: Former NBA Star Supports LA Lakers Game
To show his support for his former team, Lamar Odom stepped out in public and graced Wednesday night's game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat.
According to ABC News, the former NBA star sat courtside to support his former team and long-time good friend, Kobe Bryant. The two have been friends for years and his tickets to the game were given by the soon-to-retire baller.
Odom's presence at the Staples Centers was his first ever since he left the hospital. The 36-year-old watched the game until the end as his former team emerged victorious with 102-100. He then hung out with Bryant and even had some time to spare with Dwayne Wade.
Wade expressed his joy despite losing in a tweet that read: "Made losing this game not matter 'as much' after getting a chance to spend time with my guy LO. #GodisGood."
Bryant also shared his sentiments after having spent some time with his good friend. He told an ESPN reporter, "To see him walking around now, like nothing happened. It's really a miracle. It's beyond good to see him."
Last October, Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and was bed-ridden for some time. He has since been in recovery and has been keeping low profile but has been spotted several times with the Kardashians over the past few months.
Meanwhile, rumor has it that Khloé Kardashian is still worried about her ex-husband after reports surfaced on Tuesday that the recovering reality star had been drinking. According to U.S. Weekly, a source said Kardashian is worried that another hospital scene will occur if ever Odom continued his drinking.
On the other hand, another source close to Odom said he didn't drink when he went out Tuesday night. He only wanted to go out and see something different and Kardashian's bodyguard was with him all the time.
Kardashian and Odom's divorce papers have not been finalized, making the two still legally married. Kardashian has been with Odom all throughout his hospital stay and has said numerous times that she will continue to support him as he goes through recovery.
