'Law & Order: SVU' Season 15 Spoilers: A Family Affair Plays Out in the Media, With Special Guest Stars (TRAILER VIDEO)

"Law & Order: SVU" will finally move forward away from the "Save Benson" storyline this week, with an all new case that will keep the entire Special Victims Unit busy. In this week's episode, there is plenty of family drama as an entire family is torn apart by accusations of molestation. Benson and Captain Murphy must work together to get to the truth.

According to reports, the cops must intervene and question a well-known producer when he is accused of molesting his 8-year-old daughter. His estranged wife, however, refuses to cooperate with police yet insists that she wants justice. Was it all just a scheme in order to gain publicity? That's for the police to decide. But complicating matters is the fact that the father is now engaged to his ex-wife's younger sister.

Bradley Whitford guest stars as the television producer, with Samantha Mathis playing his ex-wife and Emma Bell starring as her younger sister. Jeffery Tambor returns as an attorney, while Geraldo Rivera and Ann Curry star as themselves.

Next week, psychologist B.D. Wong returns to the SVU team, which will undoubtedly please fans who were sad to see him leave. And it's all gearing up for the season finale, which will air on May 21, and could be the last episode of "Law & Order: SVU" ever. So far NBC and the stars have been tight-lipped about a renewal of the series.

A description of the finale states that the episode will actually focus on Amaro's story, rather than Benson's, which may be disappointing to some who feel she deserves a bit more recompense for all she's been through this season. But never fear – she does have a connection to a suspect accused of raping and robbing several male tourists. Amaro gets himself in trouble with Internal Affairs (who would have guessed) and turns to John Munch for advice. Richard Belzer, who played Munch for years, is scheduled to make a guest appearance on the episode.

"Law & Order: SVU" airs Wednesday nights on NBC.
