Lecrae announced this week that he will premiere his new song on BET's 106 & Park on Oct. 18.

The rapper will give a short performance and introduce the new track during the episode. He also recently took to his Twitter account to announce that he would be revealing the release date for his upcoming mixtape Church Clothes 2 very soon.

Church Clothes 2 will once again be hosted by DJ Don Cannon, who worked on the original version with Lecrae that was released in 2012.

The tape will feature well known producers and artists such as Boi-1da, David Banner and Paul Wall. Reach Record label mates such as Tedashii, Andy Mineo and Derek Minor will make an appearance as well. He'll officially announce the release date for the tape on Oct. 18, the same day as the performance. The new song will most likely be featured on Church Clothes 2.

Lecrae is also rumored to be working on a compilation album with his Reach Records label mates, better known as the 116 Clique. Fellow Reach rapper Andy Mineo stated that a new record from them dropping soon might be a possibility in a recent video chat with Rapzilla.com.

"There have been some talks about it, but … we're just going to keep you guessing," he said.

Along with his solo projects, Lecrae released three albums with the 116 Clique including 2005's The Compilation Album, 2007's 13 Letters, and 2011's Man Up. They also released an EP in 2007 titled Amped.

Lecrae's last solo album Gravity was released in Sept. of 2012 and sold 72,000 units in its first week. It also debuted at No.1 on the Christian, Gospel, Independent, and Rap Album charts. The rapper made a successful entry into the mainstream with the album and the original Church Clothes mixtape.
