'Legends Of Tomorrow' Cast Spoilers: Johnathon Schaech Cast As Jonah Hex, Jewel Staite's Character Detailed
The waiting for the season one premiere of "Legends of Tomorrow" is finally over. The show will finally air its pilot episode and awaiting fans are already excited. But before it even begins, spoiler reports have surfaced online to give audiences a heads up on what to expect in the series.
According to Design & Trend, DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" has finally found the actor who will play the character Jonah Hex. The antihero will be played by Johnathon Schaech, who played FBI special agent Michael Parrish on ABC's "Quantico."
Schaech will first appear in episode 11 as a guest star and may recur his role in the future. As detailed in Slash Film, Jonah Hex is a civil war soldier who turned into a bounty hunter. He has the "mark of the demon" on his face which is in the form of a large, disfiguring scar. He is described to be snappish and contemptuous but holds on to the principle of protecting and avenging the innocent.

In CW's official description of the character, it said that Hex is "a morally ambiguous gunslinger with a penchant for danger." Executive producer Marc Guggenheim also revealed that they included Hex for the reason that they are doing a time travel plot in the show. They wanted to feature a story set in the Old West.
Meanwhile, Fashion & Style also reported that executive producer Phil Klemmer revealed more details about the role of "Firefly" alum Jewel Staite. She will be doing a cameo appearance as Rachel Turner, a tech genius and a brilliant inventor from the future. Klemmer also revealed that she is related to one of the members on Rip Hunter's team.
"She's related to one of our heroes. We will find out that she's not a person off of the street," Klemmer explained. Rachel will be meeting her ancestor later on which makes the timeline even more interesting.
"Legends of Tomorrow" season 1 will air its pilot episode on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
