'Legends of Tomorrow' Season 1 Episode 6 Spoilers: Team Shocked to Find a Different Arrow
Things are getting even more interesting as The CW's hit superhero drama TV series "Legends of Tomorrow" season 1 moves on this week with an episode that will see the unlikely band of heroes end up in an era where everything is in chaos and the person they used to look up to is now a shell of his former self.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode called "Star City 2046," a technical malfunction will send the Waverider into 2046 where Star City is now a bleak, dark, and hostile place riddled with criminality and atrocities. The timeline also finds the Legend's enemy, Vandal Savage, alive and well.
Upon their arrival in the city, they immediately encounter a man whom they believe to be the Arrow they know in the present, Oliver Queen. Taking a closer look at the masked vigilante, they soon discover that the archer is not Oliver, but his future protégé Connor Hawke.
In a sneak peek, the group is seen making their way past the rubble when a mysterious figure stands above them. White Canary expresses her relief as she approaches what she believes to be her teammate in the past.
Sara and Ray try to talk to the man, but they are shocked when he instead raises his bow toward White Canary while saying, "I've never heard of any Legends."
The promo video released by the network for the episode meanwhile opens up with Rip Hunter picking up what appears to be the Arrow's signature weapon.
"Oliver Queen is dead," Rip says.
"No! It's not possible," the White Canary can also be heard saying in the video. The scenes then went on revealing the lair of Team Arrow, now desolated and heavily vandalized.
Followers of the series know full too well that the original Green Arrow will be making his appearance in this timeline. However, he won't be the same masked vigilante that is known in the "Arrow" series. Speculations are rife that he would have lost his arm during this time.
Find out how these events unfold when "Legends of Tomorrow" airs this Thursday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
