LG G4 Vs Motorola Moto G 3 Specs, Features Review: Which Smartphone is Better?
LG Electronics unveiled the LG G4 in its home country in April, just three months before Motorola Mobility announced its third generation Moto G in India.
The South Korean smartphone manufacturer released its Android 5.1 Lollipop-powered LG G4 in July, preceding the Moto G, which was made available early this month on the Motorola website.
The LG G4 received mixed reviews, with praise for its high quality 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 resolution 1440p IPS LCD display, and its 16MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash Optical Image Stabilization, and Hybrid Infrared autofocus. It also featured an 8MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

With its 1.8 Ghz 64-bit hexa-core CPU and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC, it provided for 3GB of RAM in a 148.9mm x 76.1mm x 9.8mm body with a choice of plastic, leather, and diamond pattern back cover options.
As the LG G3's evolutionary successor, it did not appear to have any considerable innovations over its predecessor, nor was it considered a stand out against its major competitors, the HTC One M9 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
It did, however, make the grade with users requiring a smartphone with substantial storage capacity (32 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSDXC) and a removal battery (3,000 mAh).
Chicago, Illinois tech company, Motorola Mobility, meanwhile, featured its 3rd generation Moto G on its website with a 5-inch 1280 x 720 resolution 720p display protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset-powered smartphone with a 1.4 GHz 32-bit Quad core CPU featured up to 2GB of RAM, and an 8GB to 16GB storage capacity expandable up to 32BG via a microSDXC slot.
The Moto G 3rd generation smartphone includes a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, dual CCT flash, 1080p video recording capabilities, and 30fps slow motion recording, and a 5MP f/2.2 aperture front shooter with flash.
The Moto G retails at $180 on its website, while the LG G4 is available from $510 to $630 off-contract, depending on the U.S. major carrier rates.
