LG Releases Teaser for Upcoming LG V10 Phablet (VIDEO)

LG just released a brief teaser for its upcoming LG V10 handset, which is gearing up for its official debut early next month.

With South Korean smartphone manufacturer LG preparing for a launch event on October 1, it has released a 15-second teaser for its soon-to-be-launched smartphone, the LG V10, said to be a dual-screen phablet.

Earlier this month, the LG V10 was sighted when it passed through TENAA, with leaks of its high specs outing the device out as the "super premium" handset LG had earlier hinted it was planning to uncover before the year ends.

Popular tech leakster, Evan Blass, known by his Twitter handle @evleaks, also posted what is believed to be a leaked image of the LG V10, saying the phablet featured two displays.

With all the information coming out about the upcoming device, LG set speculations at rest with the confirmation teaser, informing audiences it will be unveiling the LG V10 by October 1.

The teaser shows a woman getting an asymmetrical blunt-edged haircut, analogous to the LG V10 as a cutting-edge phablet with a slim and sleek design.

The LG V10 is rumored feature a 5.7 QHD display over a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset supported by 3GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage under the hood.

The phablet is reportedly carrying a 16MP rear camera, with a 5MP front shooter, and a fingerprint sensor integrated with the handset's power/lock key.

Based on the leaked imaged that circulated online last week, the LG V10 appears to be similar to the LG G4 in appearance, only more highly specc'd compared to LG's current flagship smartphone.

The LG V10's dual screens have spurred much talk after the leaked photo emerged, with speculations its purpose may serve to optimize the phablet's multitasking capabilities, manage apps, contacts, messaging, and other features at a single glance.

There has also been talk about the device's auxillary ticker located at the top of its main display, just beside the front camera, and while the ticker's purpose is yet to be announced, it is rumored to function as a shortcut menu for all the phablet's main features.

All questions and speculations over the LG V10 are expected to be answered when the device is unveiled at LG's special event in New York this coming Thursday.
