While the rapper born Dewayne Carter is reportedly recovering from his health scare, a number of high profile individuals have been supportive during his time of need. "God Bless my son just release frm hospital. thanks 4 all tha luv, " the rapper's mentor tweeted.

Mack Maine, the president of Lil Wayne's Young Money record label, also took to Twitter to thank God after the rapper overcame his most recent health scare.

"@LilTunechi has been officially been released and is headed home...God is great," Maine tweeted Monday night.

While some media sources like TMZ have reported that the rapper's multiple seizures have stemmed from the use of codeine in a drink called "sizzurp," Williams refuted those claims. Instead, the rapper's mentor said Lil Wayne may have been overworking himself.

"To me, it's how he works. He works around the clock," Birdman told New York City Radio Station Hot 97. "He's just a hard grinder for this music. But it wasn't nothing about no drugs."

While in the hospital, Lil Wayne received visits from the likes of rappers Drake, Nicki Minaj and NBA star Chris Paul. Singer Usher and rapper T.I. also mentioned Lil Wayne during recent performances, where they wished him well.

Despite conflicting reports during the rapper's stint in the hospital, Birdman said his protege needed nothing more than time to relax.

"(He) just needs to get some rest and relax," Birdman said. "He'll be back normal like anybody else."

The rapper is scheduled to release his 10th studio album "I Am Not a Human Being" next week.
