'Limitless' Season 1 Episode 20 Spoilers: Rebecca Finally Gets To Taste The Wonder Pill
In a very shocking twist, CBS' hit crime fighting drama TV series "Limitless" will take a major turn as Season 1 draws near to its closing.
According to the synopsis shared over at the Futon Critic for the upcoming episode titled "Hi, My Name Is Rebecca Harris," Jennifer Carpenter's character will finally get to take the wonder pill NZT for the very first time, as she continues to seek justice for the death of her loved one.
Like Brian Finch (Jake McDorman), the FBI Special Agent will make use of the effect of the brain drug to get into the bottom of things concerning her father's death. Moreover, the TFC summary teases that Sands (Colin Salmon) will make a dangerous move against Brian to ensure the success of his plans.
Fans of the series can definitely get a glimpse of Rebecca's transformation as she ingests the wonder drug in the promo trailer dropped by the network. In the clip, Rebecca talked to Brian and asked him to divulge everything he knew about the pill.
"You had me at a disadvantage for months, but not today," Agent Harris taunts Brian. "Today, I'm gonna be the smartest person in the room."
Brian, who is clearly worried about the consequences that this might bring to her, pleaded the agent to reconsider her move. Rebecca, however, went on to put one pill in her mouth. The scene went on to show Rebecca gaining that laser focus that Brian often felt when having the drug.
The duo is then showed working side by side, looking to be at their primal level of intelligence. Brian went on to teach Rebecca how to make the most out of the NZT-induced smartness.
Needless to say, there are people who are unhappy with what is going on with the agent. One man tells his companion that she should be "taken cared of," and by care it means putting Rebecca in a sniper's crosshair.
The video closes with Brian screaming at Rebecca to take cover. But it seems like it's already too late as the FBI operative is now shown sprawling on the ground, gasping for breath.
Find out how these events unfold when "Limitless" Season 1 airs this Tuesday, Apr. 5, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
