Lindsay Lohan’s Dad Plays Joseph in Live Nativity

Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael, joined forces with Project Dance in their second Annual Times Square Live Nativity Scene on Tuesday at the heart of New York City's Times Square.

Lohan appeared as the Biblical character. Along with Lohan that evening, renowned televangelist and life coach Paula White spoke to the New York crowd while many people from local churches made up a live choir.

Lohan became a born-again Christian after spending 25 months behind bars for drunk-driving and assault.

"Being asked to participate in this event is an honor," said Lohan. "Although this holiday is in memory of the birth Jesus Christ, it also is in memory of those who suffered in the 9/11 tragedy. In each, however, there is a message of hope, one of which we should carry forth during this season. I look forward to sharing this message to all that can attend this event."

A former stockbroker, Lohan was reunited with his actress daughter earlier this year while she was in rehab. Lindsay was not believed to have been present in the audience.
