Lindsay Lohan on Oprah: Media Mogul Asks Tough Questions, Gets Serious About Actress' Sobriety (VIDEO)

Lindsay Lohan's interview with Oprah came with some tough questions from the media mogul. It was Lohan's first sit-down with anyone since completing her three-month stint in rehab, and the teaser for the interview was released Sunday.

Lindsay Lohan's appearance on "Oprah's Next Chapter" didn't reveal much, but the aim of Winfrey's questions was clear: to find out whether Lohan is trying to do better or is destined for failure.

"Are you an addict?" the media mogul asked. The teaser showed Lohan's stunned look, but not her answers.

"What does it feel like to be both an adjective and a verb for child star gone wrong?" Winfrey asked pointedly.

Winfrey was apparently very serious about Lohan's recovery and her abstinence from drugs and alcohol. The actress had booked a one-way ticket for a vacation to Europe to celebrate completing her rehab, but Oprah reportedly convinced her not to Monday, according to TMZ.

"Lindsay is doing great," the billionaire told a cameraman when asked about the star. She called Lohan multiple times to convince her not to go to Europe, which in turn has reportedly made the actress more serious about her own sobriety.

Lohan is now traveling with a sober coach and asks that all alcohol be removed wherever she goes- that includes the Beverly Hills hotel, which she checked into last week, and even her mother's house. When the "Canyons" star guest-hosted "Chelsea Lately" earlier this week, she requested the same treatment, TMZ reported.

Lohan's interview with Oprah will air Aug. 18 at 9 p.m. on OWN. Winfrey has also set up an eight-episode docu-series to be filmed starring the former child actress.
