Kelly said that she in fact was roughed up by Mikus and has claimed that visible injuries on her boyfriend were self-inflicted. She also told the show that she was not on drugs at the time of her arrest.

"There is nothing that I was on or abusing at the time (of the arrest)," she said.

The star that played older sister Laurie Foreman on "That 70s Show," was visibly shaken up as she spoke on the morning show, fighting back tears as she spoke about the mug shot from her arrest that has left fans in shock.

"My poor mother has to see that picture. That's not what I look like. That's not me," Kelly said through tears.

Kelly admitted to struggling with alcoholism in the past and said the disease left her without anything.

"I had lost a baby. As a result of that, I lost everything, and I was abusing alcohol, which I no longer do," the actress said.

Kelly told the morning show that she is on the path to sobriety and is currently three months sober. She also expressed her excitement to star in an upcoming movie titled "It Sucks to Be Me."

"With 'That '70s Show,' I was guilty of the drinking problem and I ran. I am not running from this. I have paid my dues. If I can make it through this, I can make it through anything," she said.
