'Longmire' Season 6 Premiere Date News: Series Could Return Next Month
It's almost been a year since the last episode aired but Netflix has yet to announce a premiere date for "Longmire" season 6. However, it seems that the agonizing wait will be over soon as it is rumored that the season will premiere next month.
Despite filming for season 6 already wrapped-up months ago, the streaming service has not revealed a firm premiere date. Having already announced this month's list returning shows, it's very unlikely that the show is getting a September premiere and fans are getting impatient.
According to CarterMatt, fans want the series to end with a bang given that season 6 will be the final season for the crime mystery-drama. It would also be good if it ends at a high point with high ratings. For that to happen, however, it needs to get a premiere date before fans lose interest.

With production already finished, at least fans can rest assured that a premiere date will come shortly. However, Netflix might want to catch up on the show's fifth season before releasing "Longmire" season 6 with the DVD copy of its fifth season is hitting the shelves later this month. Fans could expect the series to return following the release of the DVD copies.
