Eva Longoria has become the latest celebrity to fall victim to a wardrobe malfunction this week.

The 37-year-old actress attended Sunday's Golden Globe Awards in an elegant but low-cut black gown.

As she traversed the red carpet before dozens of cameras, Longoria's dress appeared too large for the actress, creating an unfortunate effect.

The indecent exposure was accidental, but it was no less shocking for fans of Longoria. Regardless, the "Desperate Housewives" star laughed off the incident.

Meanwhile, once the the Golden Globes got under way, Longoria reportedly suffered another shock when friend and fellow actor Jeremy Renner told her he was expecting a child with his ex-girlfriend.

During the awards ceremony, witnesses told Us Weekly that Renner and Longoria were talking on the smoking patio.

"[Renner] was saying, 'I'm going to fly in when her water breaks,'" according to a source.

"Then Eva said, 'I'm so blown away,'" the insider added.

As news from the Golden Globes continues to made headlines this week, Longoria is preparing to host the "Latino Inaugural 2013: In Performance at the Kennedy Center."

Native to Corpus Christi, Texas, Longoria is a co-chair of Obama's inauguration festivities and will also perform during the event, which is one of many that are scheduled to occur before President Barack Obama's inauguration on Monday.

"Latinos played a critical role in this year's elections and helped tip the scales in President Obama's victory," Longoria said in a statement.

"But we are not waiting another four years to make an impact on our country's future," she added. "What better way to establish our presence at these inaugural celebrations than by showcasing the beauty and diversity of our culture at the nation's premiere performing arts center."

George Lopez, Mario Lopez, Chita Rivera and Rita Moreno will join the actress at the tribute performance on Sunday, Jan. 20.

Additional performers will include Jose Feliciano, Melanie Griffith, New York City's Ballet Hispanico, Coro de Ninos de San Juan (the San Juan Children's Choir,) among others.

Moreover, Longoria recently landed the voice lead role in "Mother Up," a cartoon series about a high-powered executive who becomes a stay-at-home mom.

"She's a crazy, irresponsible mother, that all mothers fear they are," explained Longoria to The Hollywood Reporter about her latest character.

"She barely keeps her kids alive with bizarre, improvised solutions to the endless challenges of parenting," the actress added.
