MacBook Pro 2016 Latest Rumors: New Apple Laptop Could Come Sooner than Expected

The MacBook Pro 2016 could be released earlier than expected, if the latest rumors and speculations are to be believed.

When Apple unveiled the MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 two months ago, the tech giant did not announce a definite release date for the two devices. The company's silence has spurred rumors that one of the new laptops will be out earlier than expected, or anytime between November this year and January 2016, according to Vine Report.

The latest rumors reported by the Venture Capital Post say Apple will release the MacBook Pro 2016 in December this year. The speculation is based on the discovery of a chip coded AAPLJ951 that refers to that specific device. But there are also rumors contradicting this and saying the new Apple laptop will be released around spring next year, the report relays.

The MacBook Pro 2016 will reportedly have a 13-inch and a 15-inch variant. It is also expected to run on the latest Intel Skylake U-chipset and the El Capitan operating system. In addition, the device will also come with the Force Touch feature, a USB Type-C port, and better battery life, the report details.

The 15-inch version of the MacBook Pro 2016 will come with a hefty price tag of $1,699, Realty Today reports.

Meanwhile, Latinos Post cites rumors saying the MacBook Air 2016's release date will come in time for the big Black Friday sale. However, Apple does not usually launch a price drop for its new products, so this rumor should be taken with a grain of salt.

Until now, Apple has remained mum on the rumored release dates of both the MacBook Pro 2016 and the MacBook Air 2016. Fans will have to wait for a definite announcement from the tech giant to know for sure if their awaited laptops will be out by this year or not.
