One trailer showcases the voice of Superman's biological father, Jor-El (Russell Crowe), while the other features Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), who adopts Superman, or Clark Kent.

The sneak peeks of the action film display more of Superman's human side as Clark Kent, who is portrayed by actor Henry Cavill. The superhero is seen alone as the camera sweeps over scenes of the outdoors.

In the first trailer, Jonathan "Pa" Kent advises Superman: "You're not just anyone. One day, you're going to have to make a choice. You'll have to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be. Whoever that man is, good character or bad, is going to change the world."

Alternately, the second trailer highlights Jor-El's outlook.

"You will give the people an ideal to strive towards," said Superman's supernatural father. "They'll rise behind you. They will stumble. They will fall. In time, they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders."

Amy Adams, who will portray Lois Lane in the film, was not featured in the trailers.

Zack Snyder, who has helmed hit films such as "300," served as director of "Man of Steel." Moreover, Christopher Nolan who was behind "The Dark Knight Rises" produced the new Superman flick.

The 90-second trailers have whetted the appetite of many Superman fans. "Man of Steel" will hit theaters June 14, 2013.
