Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Rematch News: Pacman Up For It But Mayweather Sr. Not Keen
Despite Floyd Mayweather Jr. publicly stating that he is in retirement, Manny Pacquiao still dreams of getting his gloves on the undefeated boxer's face for the second time around. This time, though, Floyd Mayweather Sr. says the "Pacman" can kiss his dreams good-bye.
According to Boxing News 24, Mayweather Sr. told Thaboxingvoice that his son isn't going to put his gloves back on for the Filipino champion. "Floyd Jr. ain't fighting no rematch [with Pacquiao]." He added that Pacquiao is only for the money that he will get for another bout against the "Money." "He [Pacquiao] want the biggest payout, you know. That's all that is. He want it but he ain't gone get it," he reportedly said.
When Mayweather Jr. defeated Pacquiao through a unanimous decision earlier in May at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, the Filipino boxer immediately made it clear that he wants a rematch to prove that he is the better man. However, Mayweather Jr. has been out of reach and moved on to fight Andre Berto, defeating him through another unanimous decision. He then announced his retirement and since then has been spending his estimated $400 million.

Three weeks ago, Mayweather Jr. posted a photo on Instagram sporting a chopper as he flaunts that he has landed in Nice, France. Two weeks later, he posted a photo of him relaxing on top of a heap of money while some people around him appeared to be picking some dollars up.
Then just two days ago, he posted a photo of him wearing diamonds, with one big rock shining on top of his pinkie finger.
While Pacquiao is busy hoping for part 2 of "The Fight of the Century," Mayweather Jr. doesn't seem to care at all and is spending his time on all the money he has earned through his big fights.
For now, boxing fans can give up hopes of watching "Money" and "Pacman" get into the ring until Pacquiao convinces Mayweather Jr. that he is still worth another round.
