Mariah Carey to Quit 'American Idol' Before Finale?
Pop diva and "American Idol" judge Mariah Carey has been feuding with her co-star Nicki Minaj all season, and now it might finally be coming to an end, with Carey calling it quits.
Carey may be leaving the show before the finale after last week's heated exchange that took place live and on Twitter, Fox News reported. Carey started the incident, saying, "Not everyone gets to have a number one hit."
Minaj took this remark as a personal attack from the singer, who has amassed 18 no. 1 singles in her legendary career.

The incensed rapper took to Twitter to express her feelings toward the apparently "bitter" and "insecure" "American Idol" judge.
"All dem #1s but Jlo phone ringin? I guess having a personality, being a secure woman, and giving genuine critique still trumps that," she said on Twitter.
This statement was made based on allegations that producers were looking to bring back Jennifer Lopez to replace Carey for next season, according to Yahoo!.
Sources told Fox News that regardless of what happens on the show, Carey is done for good with the show.
"She's done with it all. She doesn't need the platform, and all the drama isn't healthy for her," the insider said.
The singer herself stated in an interview with Barbara Walters before the season went to television that she was uncomfortable working with Nicki Minaj.
"It felt like an unsafe work environment," Carey said. "Anytime anybody's reeling threats at somebody, you know, it's not appropriate. I'm a professional. I'm not used to that type of environment."
This was after an argument where Minaj threatened to shoot Carey during the preliminary rounds.
This week's episodes will continue as planned, airing tonight and Thursday. The final contestants are: Angie Miller, Candice Glover, and Kree Harrison.
