Mario Kart 8 Wii U Bundle Rumored for $300; No Confirmation by Nintendo Yet (PHOTO)

Nintendo is rumored to be releasing a Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle, which could be a power move to sell consoles by packaging it with their most popular game.

Game Blog is reporting an anonymous source claimed a 32 GB Deluxe Wii U console is on its way with a copy of Mario Kart 8 and a free week long trial of Wii Karaoke U. It will be the regular price of $300, meaning Mario Kart 8 is free with the console.

Nintendo has not confirmed this rumor themselves, but here is a picture of the proposed bundle.

However, what is confirmed by Nintendo is their Princess Peach-themed Wii remote to go along with their Mario and Luigi models.

The Wii Plus controller will be pink, with blue home buttons, yellow d-pad, and a white A button. A crown design will be over the speaker on the remote, and the overall feel matches well with what Peach wears. See a picture of the remote between the Mario and Luigi models here.

Coming later this month, the remote will retail for $39.99, and will be usable for both the Wii and Wii U. The promotion is just in time for the release of Mario Kart 8, which launches May 30.

Mario Kart 8 Wii U Racing Wheel pre-orders are now available at all GameStop locations. Initially the deal was not available in the U.S., but now it has been rolled it for $9.99.

The new racing wheel, while almost identical in size and shape, actual features some artwork on it. The Mario Kart 8 logo along with a picture of the plumber in his car are on the wheel. See a picture comparison of the old and new here and here.

According to Kotaku, a Japanese company named CyberGadget has created a "Handle Stand" for the Wii U's GamePad as well. It comes with a clamp to hold the GamePad in place. It also, comes with a regular wheel for the Wii Remote.

The GamePad stand is roughly $42 USD. See a picture here.
