Massive Price Cuts for RIM Playbook Tablet by Best Buy

Best Buy is set to offer huge discounts for RIM’s Playbook Tablet computer over the Labor Day weekend, according to InformationWeek.

For a limited time, customers will be able to purchase the 16 GB Playbook for $50 less than the usual price at $449.99. The 32 GB version’s price will also be slashed by $50 and be available for $549.99.

Out of all the discounts being applied to RIM’s device, the best deal seems to be for the 64 GB Playbook which will be sold for $549.99, dropping $150 from its regular $700 dollar price tag.
