Michael Jackson Lover Same as Liberace's? Scott Thorson Makes Allegation

Scott Thorson's version of life with Liberace was shown dramatically on HBO's "Behind the Candelabra," which was seen by a large, international audience. Thorson recently made the claim that not only was he in a relationship with the famous performer, but he was also in a relationship with Michael Jackson, though a Jackson representative refuted that claim.

"Liberace introduced me and Michael in the late 1970s. It was right around the time 'Thriller' was coming out, and Michael and I became lovers," Thorson told The Sun. "Our relationship went on for six or seven years. Michael was very generous, too. He treated me well. Liberace and I had both undergone surgery around the same time Michael underwent a nose job because he didn't think he was handsome. We all healed together at the Liberace compound in Palm Springs."

He first made claims of a relationship with Jackson in 2004, but Jackson's attorney labeled the allegation as "false trash."

"We reserve our right to see the appropriate remedies against any person who makes this claim," Steve Cochran said to New York Daily News.

Thorson has had a tumultuous life. In 1981, he testified against a drug dealer named Eddie Nash and was put into witness protection. He even had his name changed. Then, in 1991, he was shot five times during a robbery but survived that as well.

Thorson was arrested and in jail for burglary when "Behind the Candelabra" first aired. He claimed to have enjoyed the film but said that Hollywood refused to help him when he was incarcerated.

"Matt Damon or Michael Douglas would not bail me out, even though I offered to talk to them about the film. Hollywood turned its back on me. I need to put money back into my pocket. I didn't make much out of the movie. I own a small percentage of the film, but Hollywood is notorious for padding the bill so it shows no profit," Thorson said.

He is currently residing at the Bunny Ranch, having been bailed out by Dennis Hof.

"I've survived being shot five times, overdoses, and I've tried to commit suicide, but I've survived to tell my story," Thorson said.
