Microsoft Surface Pro 3 vs. Lenovo Yoga Pro 3
Microsoft, Acer, Lenovo, and the other home computer manufacturers may not be the sharpest companies when it comes to tablets and smartphones but when it comes to mobile computers, they are the ones leading the pack. This time, it's going to be Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 and Lenovo's Yoga Pro 3 head-to-head.
Hybrid laptops are gaining popularity as a replacement for bulky and heavy laptop computers. They're basically the portability of a tablet and the functionality of a laptop merged into one. Detach the monitor and it becomes a tablet; clip on a keyboard and it becomes a laptop.
Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 is looking to be the one who kill the laptop, but that's still to be seen. First off, the screen and resolution has been increased from the previous 10.6-inch full HD 1920 x 1080 screen to the 12-inch 2160 x 1440 screen. It's still not quite most laptop's 14-16-inches, but large enough for most.

The Yoga 3 on the other hand is a larger 13-inch 3200 x 1800 resolution display. Adding to the large display is the Yoga's flexible hinged design where users can instantly switch from laptop to tablet mode with one fluid move.
While these hybrids are definitely smaller than full size laptops, they certainly aren't push overs when it comes to the spec sheets. The Surface Pro 3 has a 1.9GHz Intel Core i5 processor, Intel HD Graphics 4400, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage.
The Yoga Pro 3 on the other hand has a quad-core Intel Core M-70 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. Of course, high-end games wouldn't be able to play on these tablet-laptop hybrids but the specs are good enough for everyday Internet browsing, word processing, and even movie editing.
