Miley Cyrus Interested In Meeting With Sinead O'Connor?

Miley Cyrus may be looking to speak with fellow singer Sinead O'Connor after the latter publicly warned her about her recent behavior.

Cyrus, 20, has been the face of controversy lately as a singer who has seemingly prided herself on her provocative appearance more than her music. The singer caused a stir during her MTV Video Music Awards performance, when she stripped down to a nude bikini while gyrating on married R&B singer Robin Thicke, 36.

She followed the act by appearing in her "Wrecking Ball" music video in the nude. O'Connor decided to write an open letter to Cyrus after the younger singer compared her recent work to that of the older artist's 80's hit "Nothing Compares 2 U" in Rolling Stone magazine.

"I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way 'cool' to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos," O'Connor wrote to Cyrus. "It is in fact the case that you will obscure your talent by allowing yourself to be pimped, whether it's the music business or yourself doing the pimping."

Cyrus took to her Twitter account to respond to O'Connor in a manner that could be viewed as condescending. However, the younger singer spoke about the possibility of meeting with the veteran singer-songwriter.

"Sinead. I don't have time to write you an open letter cause Im hosting & performing on SNL this week," Cyrus tweeted. "So if youd like to meet up and talk lemme know in your next letter. :) (SIC)"

Before sending the tweet, Cyrus compared O'Connor to troubled actress Amanda Bynes who has caused many to question her mental state recently.

"Before Amanda Bynes.... There was....," Cyrus wrote in a cryptic message that included an image of O'Connor.
