Miley Cyrus News: Is Singer Going Back to Her Roots?

The 23-year-old daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus has taken the world in shock when she started changing from a sweet and nice long-haired gal to a wild and extremely "open" celebrity. But, in a shocking turn of events, it seems that the iconic singer is missing her old self as she sported longer hair in a new photo.

In the latest photo she shared on Instagram, she is seen with shoulder-length hair, side-swept bangs, and her natural brunette roots that older people know from the nice and sweet girl back when she was a Disney young star.

She also seems to be without make-up in the photo, and since she is already widely known for her short and wild hairstyles, the world took her change as a real shocker.

Aside from the new photo, she also posted several photos showing the "old" Miley when she was innocent and just a girl who didn't know the real world yet. One of the more popular photos that gained more than 400 thousand likes is a throwback photo of her when she was just a little girl.

Captioned with the words "Mood as hell," her "old" fans immediately showered the photo with comments that only probably made the singer miss her younger days the more. One fan said, "Have you ever thought of going back to country music," which seems to be a call for Cyrus to remember where she started.

Another said, "I really wish you never changed," while many others commented that they miss the girl they used to know.

While many believe that she may literally be going back to her old self, Entertainment Tonight says there is also a possibility that she's "just being Miley."

The "Wrecking Ball" singer notably changed after her breakup with longtime beau Liam Hemsworth, who is now dating Maika Monroe.

However Cyrus feels at the moment, what's important to fans is she gave them the feeling that there is something good to look forward to when the topic about her change is mentioned.
