Minnesota: 600 Crashes as Snow Blizzard Dumps 16 Inches
A Minnesota blizzard has caused 600 crashes as 16 inches of snowfall was recorded over the region on Sunday.
The snow storm has been slow-moving, allowing it to lay down more than a foot of snow in many parts of the Upper Midwest.
Reports have said that many roads have become treacherous with Minnesota State Patrol recording more than 600 crashes by Monday morning.

It is believed that the snowfall is the city's heaviest in more than two years and has even caused the Metrodome roof to collapse under the weight of the snow.
Visibility became so poor that the Department of Transportation withdrew many snowplows from the highway in southwest and west Minnesota on Sunday afternoon.
So far at least one person has been killed in the chaos in a crash involving a semi near Red Wing. Sixty-three other accidents caused injuries, according to officials.
At 2 a.m. On Monday another accident was also reported in western Wisconsin which closed down the westbound lane of Interstate 94.
South Dakota has also been hit by more than a foot of snow at the weekend, causing significant travel disruption.
There was no let up on Monday as the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for the far northwest of Wisconsin. They predicted around nine inches of snowfall on Monday morning alone.
There were also significant disruptions to flights at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on Sunday as about 150 flights were canceled.
