Miranda Kerr Dating Australian Billionaire James Packer Following Orlando Bloom Split?

Miranda Kerr has been linked to Australian Billionaire James Packer, just two months after she announced her split from Orlando Bloom.

The former Victoria's Secret model, 30, reportedly began growing closer to Packer, 46, in September after he announced his own split from wife of six-years, Erica. The Casino mogul is the son of the late media mogul, Kerry Packer.

"Miranda may come across as an Earth Mother but she loves the high life and James can provide the sort of lifestyle and security very few could give her," an alleged friend told Woman's Day magazine.

Kerr, who shares a 2-year-old son Flynn with Bloom, 36, is yet to publicly address the dating rumors however sources claim she is very fond of Packer.

"I couldn't be happier for her – this year's been pretty difficult for Miranda. Her career seems to have hit a slump and she was totally devastated by the split."

The Australian supermodel and Bloom are said to be long-term friends of Packer and Erica, who share three children - Indigo, 5, Jackson Lloyd, 3, and Emmanuelle Sheelah, 15 months.

In May 2012 the two families enjoyed a vacation together in Bora Bora, however Kerr and Packer appeared to have a platonic friendship at the time. The Australian Billionaire is believed to have given Kerr business advice in recent years following the launch of her beauty products.

For many fans, Bloom and Kerr's three-year marriage appeared to be the perfect Hollywood union however different lifestyles and demanding careers are believed to have ultimately caused friction. The estranged pair reportedly separated months before their October announcement and sources claim a divorce filing is imminent.

"They've been living separately in NYC for at least two months now. They would just meet up to be with their son," a source told Life & Style magazine.

"Their careers just weren't matching up anymore," the source explained. "Miranda's all about socializing and building her brand, while Orlando just kept saying he wanted peace and quiet."

The couples reportedly announced the end of their respective marriages just 45 days apart.
