Motorola Droid RAZR Ice Cream Sandwich Updates to Be Overseas by June
Motorola recently announced when it will begin rolling out official Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades for the Droid RAZR smartphone.
The first upgrades will be released between the months of April and June. The areas slated to receive them include the Asia Pacific region, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Korea, Japan, China and Canada.
U.S. citizens will have to wait just a bit longer as Motorola has stated that it is still in the "evaluation and planning" phase for the country.

This points to a possible summer release for the Droid Razr Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade for those living in the U.S.
The Droid RAZR has been listed as one of the devices to receive Android 4.0 since its launch at the end of last year. The device comes with Android 2.3, Gingerbread pre-installed and was voted as CNET's top smartphone of 2011.
It also debuted as "the world's thinnest smartphone" sporting a thickness of just 7.1mm. The follow up device to the Droid RAZR known as the RAZR Maxx was released at the beginning of this year and includes mostly the same specs aside from a beefed up 3300mAh battery.
Another popular device that will be receiving the ICS upgrade in the coming months overseas will be the Samsung Galaxy S2, according to a press release issued by the company earlier this week.
There have been several ICS ROMs and BETA versions that have made their way onto the smartphone, but the official upgrade should finally be rolling out.
Rumors of a March 10 upgrade surfaced, but when that date finally arrived, Galaxy S2 owners were left disappointed when Samsung pushed it back without revealing another date.
The company still has not announced when the U.S. will receive Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
