There is no official release date for the Droid. Verizon promised its customers that the Razr would ship before Nov. 10.

Verizon is the only cellphone carrier to sell the Droid Razr in the United States.

The Droid Razr comes packed with several intriguing features, such as a dual-core 1.2-GHz processor, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED advanced qHD display, 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording, HD front-facing camera, and a mobile hotspot support for up to eight Wi-Fi.

The device is measured at a thin 0.28-inches.

Motorola's smartphone will launch with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. Other reports stated Verizon might upgrade the device to Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, in early 2012.

NFL Mobile application will be offered free of charge to 4G LTE customers who buy the smartphone.

Sascha Segan, PCMag mobile analyst, said the Droid Razr is "one of those phones that feels even better in the hand than it does in pictures." He said the Razr's screen is "still very handle-able, just because it's so darn thin."
