Motorola DVX Specs Revealed, Device to Feature 4.5-inch Display, Dual-SIM Slot
The Motorola DVX specs were revealed in a new report.
The device will basically function as a lower cost version of the Moto X smartphone. The information was revealed by a Chinese leaker known as Houdabao.
The handset will feature a 4.5-inch 'non-super AMOLED' display, dual-SIM card slot and easily removable colored covers. It will be powered by the same X8 computing system found in the Moto X which means it will most likely come with a dual-core Snapdragon CPU, a quad-core GPU and two low power processors for contextual features and natural language processing.

The device will also cost in between $195-$245 off contract.
A leaked presentation slide from Republic Wireless revealed that the handset will be released in North America sometime this month. Judging from information in the new report, it will not be made in the U.S. making it cheaper for Motorola to manufacture. It probably will cost significantly lower than the flagship Moto X on contract and will ditch the dual-SIM feature here as well.
In the meantime, customers can pick up the Moto X for just $99 at Best Buy.
This new price applies to customers picking up the handset at the retailer on contracts with carriers such as AT&T, Verizon and Sprint and is available to both new and existing customers. This is about half of what the price would be if customers were to buy it directly through a carrier.
Amazon is offering a similar deal for the Sprint version of the Moto X for just $79.99.
The Android 4.3 JellyBean update for the Moto X smartphone leaked towards the end of last month.
The build was deemed incomplete by various tech outlets and is currently available for download in the XDA Developers Forum. Installing this software on the Moto X will be dangerous to those who are unfamiliar with these types of unofficial upgrades. It can also lead to the voiding of the owner's warrantee.
