Natina Reed Killed by Car, Actress and Singer Mourned
"Bring It On" actress and member of the R&B group Blaque Natina Reed has died after being hit by a car in Atlanta Friday night.
Just days before her 33rd birthday, Reed was pronounced dead at Gwinnett Medical Center at 10:59 p.m.
At around 10:30 p.m. the driver of the vehicle called 911 to report hitting a pedestrian.

"Information received indicated that CPR was being performed by a person on the scene," said Gwinnet Sgt. Rich Long of the Gwinnett County Police Department, according to Yahoo! Music.
"Preliminary information indicates that Reed was in the roadway on Lawrenceville Highway near Hamilton Road when struck," Reed's statement continued. "The driver of the vehicle was determined to be not at fault and there are no charges pending."
It is believed that the driver and passenger are the only two witnesses; and authorities are withholding their names as the investigation continues.
Meanwhile, Reed's fans and fellow celebrities are mourning the loss of the actress and singer. Tributes and remembrances have poured on Twitter from hundreds of users, including Reed's "Bring It On" co-stars.

Eliza Dushku posted, "Natina Reed, such a beautiful young talented women, my Bring It On sis, so sad to hear… #tragic"

Fellow Blaque members Brandi Williams and Shamari Fears-De Voe also noted their sadness, with Williams writing, "Last night the world was changed forever, life will never be the same… she was my sister."
Williams and Fears-De Voe released a statement noting their shock and revealing that they had reunited the group.
"She will be forever missed and her global influence eternally felt," the band added. "We thank God for the experiences we shared."
Moreover, rapper Kurupt and father to Reed's 10-year-old son Tren expressed his grief in a statement to MTV.
"Myself and Tren, Natina's son, would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this tragic time," said Kurupt. "This is a tremendous loss to our family. Natina was a great person and I wish everyone had the opportunity to meet her and know her as I did."
Reed was the protégé of the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of TLC, who was killed in a car accident in Honduras in 2002.
