"We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife," the couple told People magazine. "Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for."

Rivera wore a flattering Monique Lhuillier gown as she walked down the aisle while Dorsey opted to wear a Dolce & Gabbana suit. They exchanged Neil Lane rings and later posed for romantic beach wedding photos.

"True love always prevails," they said of their bond.

The wedding news came as a shock to fans as many pointed out there was never an engagement announcement.

The couple, who met in Los Angeles four years ago, began dating shortly after Rivera called off her engagement to rapper Big Sean.

The wedding is undoubtedly giving Rivera something to smile about after her seemingly challenging year.

In April she was left heartbroken following her broken engagement to Big Sean. The rapper's rep suggested that it was him that ended the six-month engagement.

"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," his rep told Us magazine.

Just one week after the split, reports of a feud between Rivera and her "Glee" co-star lea Michele surfaced online.

By May reports claimed the actress had been fired from the hit show and dropped by her record label. A source claimed she had been "written out" of the season 5 finale and shortly thereafter Billboard.com claimed she was no longer on the Columbia Records roster.

"The newest story claiming that Naya Rivera was dropped from her recording contract with Columbia Records is absolutely false. If the 'news' outlets who put out this story had bothered to contact anyone from her team, they would have learned this was false," Rivera's rep said in a statement obtained by Us Weekly magazine.
