NBA 2K16 Roster News, Update: Stephen Curry Upped To 96 Overall
Two weeks after 2K Sports released the new "NBA 2K16" player roster, new updates are still rolling out. One of the more noticeable changes brought about by the new update is for the game's Stephen Curry, who is getting a one-point upgrade.
"Stephen Curry is now a 96 Overall in #NBA2K16, raising him to a Diamond level in MyTEAM for his Dynamic Rating Card!" the game's official Twitter account stated.
Despite the meager upgrade, the increase puts Curry in league with the likes of NBA legends Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Shaquille O'Neal, as well as the 1988-1989 version of Michael Jordan. Above him are the high-raters like Magic Johnson, LeBron James, 1997 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and 1999 Michael Jordan.
Other names getting a nudge in the Overalls are Kevin Durant (92), John Wall (88), Draymond Green (85), and Klay Thompson (84).
Festus Ezeli, Gary Neal, Robert Covington, and Zach Lavine are all 76 Overall while Al-Farouq Aminu and Gorgui Dieng are 75 Overall. Lagging behind with one point is Allen Crabbe.
The fallers on the other hand include Russell Westbrook (91), Karl-Anthony Towns (81), Enes Kanter (80), Jahlil Okafor (77), and Mason Plumlee (76).
Kevin Martin, Nerlens Noel and Shabazz Muhammad, on the other hand, are now 74 Overall.
Fans are also in for some awesome in-game improvements as 2K Sports just released the new "NBA 2K16" Virtual Currency (VC) codes to help them buy new gears as well as unlock players. Players only need to type in "SHOOT2MUCH500" to acquire 500VCs. For bigger in-game needs, all they have to do is key in "2KTVPOSTSEASON" to get 1,000 VC credits.
The Milwaukee Bucks is also getting an alternate floor in the game. To use the new design, players only need to equip the Bucks alternate uniform during a home game.
"The #FearTheDeer Alternate Court is now available in @NBA2K!!" reads the announcement from the official Milwaukee Bucks Twitter page.
Stay tuned for more updates.
