Game two last April 18 was a closer contest, but Golden State still managed to emerge victorious with a final score of 115-106. Curry was on the sidelines due to a problematic right ankle, and instead, shooting guard Klay Thompson led the stats sheet, scoring 34 points and five assists.

Houston did save themselves from immediate elimination in Game three last April 21st, winning the game with a mere point, with a final tally of 97-96. Guard James Harden sank in a last-minute shot with 2.7 seconds left in the game. He ended the night with 35 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.

Game four last April 24th was another trying moment for Curry. After spraining his knee in the second quarter, he was forced to move out of the game. But once again, the rest of the team helped out to earn them another blowout victory.

The Warriors routed the Rockets with a final score of 121-94. Thompson put on another outstanding performance, ending the game with 23 points, along with five assists, shooting 8 out of 15 from the field, through 30 minutes of playing time.

Forward Andre Iguodala was the second leading scorer for his team, dropping 22 points, along with 22 points, five rebounds and four assists, shooting 9 out of 11 from the field, through 23 minutes of playing time.

Head coach Steve Kerr lauded his men for a stellar overall performance.

"When you have a team that is as together as ours is and cares about each other like ours does, you tend to pick up the fight a little bit. Our guys sensed that we needed to come together," Kerr said.
