Nexus 5 Rumors: Smartphone Makes Appearance at Bluetooth SIG
The Nexus 5 rumors have already revealed that the smartphone passed through FCC and a new report from this week points to the device making its way to Bluetooth SIG.
The same model with the number LG-D821 that was spotted at FCC last week showed up listed for Sept. 5 on Bluetooth SIG. The device is expected to be an LG LTE mobile phone that will succeed last year's LG Nexus 4.
Google has not yet confirmed the existence of this Nexus handset.

The device that passed through FCC features a 4.96-inch screen, a Snapdragon 800 processor, LTE connectivity, NFC, CDMA/EV-DO, HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and a 2300 mAh battery. It also comes with Google's latest Android 4.4 KitKat software.
There are pics of the device's Qi charging and NFC antenna that show the alignment of the camera cutout on the back panel. Engadget believes that this is definitely an LG made device and the model number LG-D820 in the filing confirms that fact. LG officials also filed the confidentiality request for the report, according to the site.
The Nexus 5 made an appearance at Google's Android 4.4; KitKat statue unveiling that took place earlier this week.
A picture was sent by an anonymous tipster to Android Authority that attended the event. They also received a video taken from unveiling that shows people snapping pics celebrating with one of them holding an unidentified Nexus phone.
Some other recent rumors point to the smartphone being made by Motorola.
A new report by @evleaks involved a leak of a device that was originally thought to be an LG-made Nexus 5, but was now confirmed to be the LG Optimus L9 II.
The site tweeted out a picture of this handset and a message clarifying who will make the successor to the Nexus 4.
"PSA: that 'Nexus 5' is probably the LG Optimus L9 II. Nexus 5 (Nexus 4 v2) looks to be a Motorola handset," said @evleaks.
