Nick Carter News: Star Talks Florida Brawl for the First Time After His Arrest
For the first time after he was arrested in Florida early this year, Nick Carter has opened up to the public and talked about what he learned from the incident.
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, the Backstreet Boys member admitted to his wrongs and said he is now focusing on the good things. When asked about the brawl's impact on his life and if it was sort of a wake-up call, he answered, "Absolutely, we are all human, we act that way sometimes."
The 36-year-old singer was arrested in January and was booked by the Monroe Country Sheriff's Office for a misdemeanor battery charge after he allegedly grabbed a bouncer by the throat just outside Hog's Breath Saloon.

Despite the tabloids making a huge deal out of his arrest, Carter is focusing on all the positive things that life offers him, especially the coming of his baby. "I'm focused on the positive stuff that is happening and getting back on track," he said.
Carter is expecting his first child with Lauren Kitt and he said during that interview that he is hoping the experience of becoming a first-time father would "turn me into a better person and man that I am."
Aside from the busy week to come as he preps for his baby's arrival, Carter is also enjoying his career as "Dead 7" premiered last Friday. Two of his band mates starred in the film: A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough. Along with himself as one of the major characters, Carter also acquired Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees as well as Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick from N'Sync.
Carter has worked for the past years to create a movie and while his "Evil Blessings" didn't make it to the big screens following director Sxv'leithan Essex's death, he stood up from the ruins and came up with "Dead 7."
The Asylum, the production company that brought "Sharknado" to theaters, became the film's main supporter and in September of last year, filming wrapped up.
