Nick Fury Will Return For The Last Time In 'Avengers 4'?

It appears that Nick Fury will return in the fourth Avenger film despite previous reports that the former S.H.I.E.L.D. director will not appear in the next two "Avengers" film. A new casting call came out for the film has surfaced stating that Samuel L. Jackson will indeed star in the sequel.

This seems to be bittersweet news for fans of the eye-patch sporting spy as it also suggests that it will be Jackson's final appearance as the character. One of the roles this casting call is looking for seems to be a photo double for Samuel L. Jackson which could mean that they are looking for a replacement.

The news first came out of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution which reveals that Jackson will indeed star in the film. He will join already confirmed cast members namely Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, and Josh Brolin. They will be heading to either Atlanta or Fayetteville, Georgia for a shoot on Oct. 5 and 6.

As for the photo double, the description reads, "Man #1 - looks African-American and is age 30s to 50s, from 6'2" to 6'4" and has a chest size of 38 to 40. You'll need to be bald and must have a goatee or have facial hair that you're willing to cut into a goatee to match the actor."

Still, it is also possible that the photo double is not for Jackson but rather for Don Cheadle's character Col. James Rhodes/War Machine. The indicator of this is the age requirement which corresponds to Cheadle and not Jackson who is 68-years-old. The photo double could also be for Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson/The Falcon. He also sports a goatee similar to Nick Fury although he appears to be too young for the age requirement.

Even if Nick Fury doesn't show up in the next two "Avengers film," he will still make an appearance in "Captain Marvel" which is set to be released a few months earlier. Still, it would be nice to see Fury in one last film to give Jackson one last hurrah for a job well done.
