Nicki Minaj Settles Feud a Year After Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg Blasted 'Starships'
After nearly a year, the feud between Nicki Minaj and Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg was finally put to rest after the two met face-to-face for the first time to offer apologizes and explanations to one another.
"It's water under the bridge. I mean, it's so long ago. I can't even act like I care anymore, but I appreciate you guys having me," Nicki said during a radio interview. "In hindsight ... I should've just did the show."
"I don't know your resume. I never found you funny. I never found you entertaining. I never found you smart. I just found you annoying. To me it was like, who are you? You don't have enough of a resume to make those comments," Minaj also said.

The dust up between the two started after Rosenberg criticized Minaj for releasing "Starships," insisting that the track was not hip-hop, it was pop. He also said Minaj would not be able to make it as a mainstream hip-hop artist if she continued to produce music like that.
Soon after the comments went public, Minaj decided to forgo her appearance at the Hot 97 Summer Jam concert, causing a big backlash from fans who largely blamed Rosenberg.
Also previously involved with the feud was Lauryn Hill, who publicly spoke out in support of Minaj. Rumors had been circulating that Hill ignored Minaj's request not to perform at the concert after she decided to pull out.
"No disrespect to Nicki, but I need to clear up an inaccuracy. I was not scheduled to be a special guest on her set at Summer Jam, I was invited by Nas to perform with him. I don't have details on exactly what transpired between the station and the artists, but I do support artists standing by their beliefs, and walking with integrity," Hill tweeted.
