No Networks Buying New Sarah Palin Reality Show

Sarah Palin is pitching her husband’s reality show, but no one is buying.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Palin is having trouble finding a network to pick up a reality show starring her husband, Todd, and his adventures as a professional snowmobile racer.

Just last year, networks including A&E and TLC entered a bidding war to buy the reality show “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” starring the former Alaska governor and former Republican vice presidential candidate herself.

Now, it appears viewers have lost interest in the woman who was once the hottest topic in every newspaper.

“Sarah Palin’s Alaska” ended in 2010 with 5 million viewers, but Palin and the show’s producer, Mark Burnett, didn’t give up.

Now that Palin is no longer in the run for president, they are looking to advance her career in media. Sources say even TLC owner Discovery Communications, as well as A&E Networks, have no interest in the show.

Apparently, networks are taken back by the Palins’ steep asking price. The previous show went for more than of $1 million per episode and Palin and her producer are asking for a similar payout for the spin-off.

Earlier this year, Palin’s daughter, teen mom Bristol Palin, relocated to California to shoot a reality series for the BIO channel with her friend and fellow “Dancing With The Stars” competitor, Kyle Massey.

That show never made the air for reasons that were undisclosed.

Palin dropped out of the presidential race after author Joe McGinniss's book, The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, made claims that the politician snorted cocaine off of a 55 gallon oil drum while snowmobiling with friends and had affairs with top NBA star, Glen Rice and one of her husband's business partners.

According to The Washington Post, Rice, who was a junior at the University of Michigan at the time of the affair, admitted he had been intimate with Palin.
