Norma Jean to Release 'Wrongdoers' August 6

Christian metalcore band, Norma Jean, are releasing their new album, Wrongdoers, on August 6 through Razor & Tie.

Recorded with producer Josh Barber and mixed by Jeremy Griffith of Covenant Recording Studios in Kansas City, the album is the band's sixth and their first since 2010's Meridional.

Wrongdoers is available for pre-order now, and comes in different bundles featuring various t-shirts, posters, and stickers ranging from $5 to $70 at http://normajean.merchnow.com/.

Also available is the limited edition special 3.5" vinyl featuring B-sides "AHHH! SHARK BITE AHHH!" and "Chug On Three."

The band has sold over 416,000 units in the United States and has been nominated for one Grammy for "Best Recording Package" in 2006.

The band was originally signed to Solid State Records under the name Luti-Kriss, but changed their name because of a musical style change and due to confusion with the rapper Ludacris who is from Atlanta, Georgia as well.

Norma Jean has also seen around 11 members come and go during their tenure since 1997.

Their album Meridional was was highly praised in the press.

"Norma Jean's first true masterpiece," Alternative Press said about the album and then named it one of their Top 10 "Essential Albums of 2010" along with naming Cory Brandan "Best Vocalist" in their MVR's (Most Valuable Rockers) of 2010.
