Obama's 'Crack Pies' Joke Corrected by Michelle Obama (VIDEO)

Barack Obama recently joked about the White House Executive Pastry Chef Bill Yosses tasty offerings – including his pies, this week.

The President of the United States was speaking at an LGBT Pride Month reception at the White House when he acknowledged the sweet desserts proffered by Yosses, "a man who's made life at the White House very sweet." Furthermore, Obama called the pastry chef a crustmaster because his pies are so delicious.

"Because his pies, I don't know what he does, whether he puts crack in them … but …" Obama quipped.

The drug reference in a joke has made waves, even catching Michelle Obama's attention. Although Obama only meant to "crack" a joke, the First Lady quickly added that the pies do not contain crack.

"No he doesn't," she said of Yosses to the laughing crowd. "There is no crack in our pies."

Yosses is leaving the White House after seven years in order to move to New York where he plans to teach children and adults about eating better.

"It's a bittersweet decision," Mr. Yosses said, according to the New York Times.

The acclaimed pastry chef has made Hawaiian chocolate-malted ganache for the White House state dinner for the President of France, and he is also well known for his raspberry and pear soufflés. However, under some influence from the First Family, Yosses is using healthier recipes and "replacing butter with fruit puree, which gives some body."

"She has done it with humor and good will, without preaching, just the way you would hope the 'Mom in chief' would do," Yosses told the New York Times, referring to Michelle Obama.

The chef went on to call the First Lady "definitely an inspiring boss, a combination of spontaneity and seriousness." However, Yosses offered little additional information about his next venture in New York, and his successor at the White House has not yet been selected.
