Obamacare 'Kills' and Needs to Be Repealed, Michele Bachmann Demands
Obamacare could "literally kill" American citizens and needs to be repealed now, says Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) on Thursday on the House floor as the third anniversary of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, approaches.
"Repeal this failure before it literally kills women, kills children, kills senior citizens," Bachmann, who ran to be the Republican presidential nominee in the 2012 election, demanded.
The Minnesota congresswoman said Obamacare will hurt women and children because the law doesn't require companies to extend health insurance to family members of employees, and more women are on their spouse's healthcare plan than the reversal.

"This is devastating for moms across America, for children across America, for senior citizens across America," she said. "Let's love people, let's care about people, let's repeal it now while we can."
On Saturday, March 23 (the date President Obama signed it), Obamacare will officially turn three years old. But time has not much lessened the fervor of those seeking to repeal the expansive healthcare law that touts to expand Medicare drug coverage and allow children to stay on their parents' healthcare plan until they are 26. Three years later there is more reports that Obamacare will increase insurance costs and may even add $6.2 trillion to the deficit.
Scholars from the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank, used data from the Government Accountability Office and found that Medicare will cut physician fees by 25 percent next January, and by 2030 Medicare payments to physicians will be 60 percent less.
House Republicans voted for the 37th time on Thursday to repeal Obamacare, and Bachmann's speech came after the failed vote. Congressmen has voted for the 36th time just the day before, March 20, to repeal Obamacare.
