OnePlus X Champagne Edition Launched in India, Priced at Rs. 16,999
Good news for all the OnePlus fans located in India. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched a different variant of their OnePlus X model.
According to a report by Tech 2, the OnePlus X Champagne edition is now available for sale in India with a price tag of Rs. 16,999, which is equivalent to $255 at current exchange rates. It's actually the same price with the standard Onyx variant.
Those who have on hand the OnePlus X invite (Onyx variant) can grab one through Amazon India. GSM Arena noted that the company has announced open sale of the device every Tuesday but it's only applicable for international markets like Europe and Hong Kong. So for fans from India, one will need to get an invite first before getting the limited-edition variant. An invite to the standard model can be utilized.

The OnePlus X Champagne is available in Europe and China already. Techno Buffalo detailed that it will be made available in North America as well. There's no specific date of launching yet but it will be released sometime in January.
The company did not specify as well when the Ceramic version will be made available in North America. But considering it's a limited-edition, chances are low that many will be able to get hold of it.
As for the specs of the OnePlus X Champagne, the device carries a 5-inch AMOLED display with a pixels resolution of 1080 x 1920. Under its hood, one will find Qualcomm's quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It also has 3 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 16 GB which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
The device also features a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. It is pre-installed with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Oxygen OS. Giving it power is a 2525mAh battery. It also supports dual-SIM.
